Marketing Manager – Apprentice


  1. Take ownership of our content marketing, outbound marketing, digital event coordination, social media and (at a high level) SEO.
  2. Maintaining a regular flow of content Kounteq’s blog and social media
  3. Writing new website content
  4. Developing and refining email funnels
  5. Managing customer outreach
  6. Creating/organisaing content (blogs, whitepapers, social)
  7. Reviewing and editing articles from content writers
  8. Help craft and execute on wider campaigns to support sales and marketing KPIs.
  9. Ideate new campaigns and in initiatives
  10. Active contribution and daily management of Kounteq’s marketing plan and roadmap for the year
  11. Build and maintain a content calendar for the corporate blog and social media.
  12. Manage cold email outreach and other outbound campaigns.
  13. Develop new content-rich pages and resources (e.g. blogs, whitepapers) for the corporate website.
  14. Improve key SEO metrics and increase inbound leads from search engines.
  15. Strategize and execute on digital events (e.g. webinars).
  16. Manage email marketing funnels for our services.
  17. Regularly review and edit articles from content writers.
  18. Define marketing KPIs
  19. Lead initiatives to improve analytical insight into marketing success.


  1. A passion to gain hands-on experience in marketing
  2. Understanding of how to scope and execute marketing strategies in B2B SaaS
  3. Excellent storytelling and communication skills; empathy, confidence and passion
  4. The flexibility to work in a start-up plus the capacity to adapt quickly as we scale
  5. Good understanding of SEO, keyword and other content optimisation skill sets
  6. Strong written and spoken English, with good attention to detail and presentation
  7. Ability to manage and operate multi-channel campaigns, with a specific focus on digital marketing
  8. Highly ambitious with a long-term view of success
  9. Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to zoom out to the big picture then back in to deliver on the micro-details
  10. Zero ego: no job too small or too big mindset
  11. A desire to network and build relationships
  12. Ideally experience with Hubspot, WordPress, Slack and G-suite
